Overview: This Privacy Policy elaborates on the data collection, usage, storage and protection rules of Jovax, a mobile application dedicated to recording daily activities of hamsters and other small pets. This policy is formulated in accordance with global prevailing data privacy regulations, binding on all users who access and use our platform services.

1. General Provisions & Service Description

Jovax is a specialized small pet daily recording application, focusing on providing personalized diary management services for small pet breeders. Core services include allowing users to upload pet photos, record feeding, growth and daily behavioral texts, store pet diary content permanently, and generate visualized statistical data such as feeding frequency, activity cycle and growth trends for users to view and reference.

This privacy agreement applies to all functions of the Jovax application. Any individual who accesses, registers and uses the application’s pet recording and data statistics functions shall be deemed to have fully read, understood and unconditionally accepted all terms of this policy. If you refuse to accept any clause herein, you have no right to use any service of Jovax.

2. User Access Qualification Clause

Considering the independence of user data management and relevant legal compliance requirements, all services of Jovax are only open to users aged 18 and above.

Minors under 18 are strictly prohibited from registering accounts, uploading pet diaries, browsing statistical data and using any functional services of the application. We do not collect any data information from minors intentionally. Once we find that the service user is a minor, we have the right to take measures including but not limited to freezing user permissions, clearing all pet diary data, and permanently banning the corresponding device from accessing the application without prior notice.

If guardians find that minors illegally use our application, please contact us through the official email. We will complete data cleaning and permission interception within 1-3 working days.

3. Types of Data Collected & Processed

To complete pet diary recording and intelligent data statistics services, we only collect necessary data related to user usage scenarios, and never actively collect sensitive private information such as user location, contact list and biometric information. The data we process is divided into three categories:

3.1 Pet Diary User-Generated Content

The original content independently created and uploaded by users, which is the core service data of the application. It covers photos of hamsters and other small pets, daily feeding records, weight tracking texts, behavioral notes, health status descriptions and other personalized pet-related diary content.

3.2 Statistical Derivative Data

Derived data generated by our system based on users’ pet diary content, including pet feeding frequency statistics, activity time distribution, growth data curves and multi-dimensional pet raising analysis reports. All statistical data is only displayed to the corresponding creator and will not be shared publicly by default.

3.3 Anonymous Technical Logs

Anonymous and unidentifiable technical data automatically collected during the operation of the application, including application running logs, function usage hotspots, crash feedback data and anonymized device information. This data cannot be used to locate a single user and is only used for product maintenance.

4. Legal Basis & Usage of Data

We process user data based on the user’s voluntary consent and service execution requirements, and all data is only used for the following purposes:

• Carry out core services: Store users’ pet photos and diary texts, and automatically calculate, generate and update pet raising statistical data to meet users’ daily recording and data viewing needs;

• Maintain application stability: Analyze anonymous technical logs to repair program bugs, optimize data statistics algorithms, reduce application crash probability, and improve the overall running efficiency of the diary module;

• Iterate product functions: Summarize the usage preferences of core functions, optimize the statistical dimension of pet data and the editing experience of diary pages;

• Respond to user requests: Answer users’ service consultation, function feedback and data related questions via the official email.

5. Data Storage Mechanism & Security Guarantee

5.1 Storage Method and Cycle

Users’ original pet diary content and exclusive statistical data are stored locally on the user’s mobile device by default. We will not synchronize or upload the above private content to the cloud server without the user’s explicit authorization. Users can manually delete single or all diary records and statistical data at any time.

Anonymous technical logs are stored in encrypted cloud servers with a maximum retention period of 45 days. After the expiration, the system will automatically shred and delete the data without manual intervention.

5.2 Data Security Protection

We adopt local data encryption storage technology to isolate pet diary content from third-party applications, preventing unauthorized access and data theft. For cloud stored anonymous logs, we implement multi-level access authority management, and only designated maintenance personnel can access the data. Meanwhile, we regularly upgrade the security firewall to reduce data leakage risks.

6. Data Sharing & Transfer Regulations

Jovax adheres to the principle of data confidentiality. We will never sell, rent or trade users’ pet diaries, statistical data and other private content to any third-party enterprises, organizations or individuals for commercial purposes. Data disclosure is only limited to the following special circumstances:

• The user takes the initiative to put forward a sharing request and independently authorizes the designated third party to obtain relevant content;

• It is necessary to comply with mandatory legal provisions, judicial rulings and official regulatory requirements issued by relevant government departments;

• To eliminate potential network security risks and protect the legitimate rights and interests of Jovax and all registered adult users.

7. User Rights, Privileges and Obligations

7.1 User Exclusive Rights

• Query Right: Users can freely view all pet diary content and corresponding statistical data stored in the application;

• Deletion & Modification Right: Users can modify or delete uploaded pet photos and text diaries at will;

• Opt-out Right: Users can disable the collection of anonymous technical logs through device permission settings;

• Consultation Right: Users can inquire about our data storage and processing rules through the official contact email.

7.2 User Binding Obligations

• Users shall ensure that the uploaded pet related content is legal and compliant, and it is forbidden to upload violent, pornographic, illegal and other prohibited content;

• Users shall not use this application to disseminate false pet raising information, carry out illegal transactions and other behaviors violating relevant laws and regulations;

• Users shall bear all legal risks and liabilities arising from illegal content uploaded by themselves.

8. Policy Revision & Notification Mechanism

We reserve the right to adjust and revise the terms of this privacy policy according to product function iteration, market environment changes and updated legal specifications. After the policy is revised, we will update the latest modification date at the top of the document and release revision prompts on the homepage of the application.

Continuous use of the application’s pet recording and data statistics services after the release of the revised policy means that users recognize and accept the updated terms. If users disagree with the revised content, they must stop using the application immediately.
